The focus is more on the first session as it has made the most impact to me. It was difficult to conduct the first session as the kids were full of energy and were more interested in hands-on activity rather than the worksheet activity that we have prepared for them. Furthermore, the content of our activity was complicated for the students and Daren and I had to think of a way to make it easier for the kids. Hence, we tweaked our activity on the spot by breaking down the content and sing a song which in turn made them remember it easily as the next two sessions, the students countlessly asked us to repeat the song. We were supported by the rest of our group members during the session as it was the hardest task we had throughout the three sessions we had. Moreover, our group dynamics was actually all over the place at first as we were new to one another but through time, we learned to compromise and accommodate to the different working styles that all of us had to make the planning and execution phase go smoothly. However, it would have been better if some of us put aside the judgements we have about one another so that we would not act indifferently to one another during the group project. Therefore, through working with my group members, I feel that my group did their best in putting aside their differences to work towards a common goal.
