Our proposed activities were teaching the students how to effectively manage their anger through worksheet activity, focusing on communication where we conducted activities like blind mice and broken television and lastly, we conducted heroes trail which targeted self-efficacy of students. We were not able to conduct the first 2 proposed activities due to the students not being able to comprehend the content and also the due to the shortage of time during the second session. The mental health issue that was addressed was depression as there was a relation between low income and depression (Tracy et al., 2008). Hence, the proposed activity was not that effective in addressing the mental health issue as it still stresses the students out when it came to the content rather than letting them find a distraction from the issue. I would recommend the activity to be more hands on as by making it more hands on, the activities would require more participation and that students would be more engaged. The activities would also be made more physical where the students are able to use their physical abilities to carry on the activities. By doing so, they would be able to not only do hand on activities but those that require them to sweat it out. Hence, they would be able to take their mind of depressing thoughts and it would lead to them being able to alleviate their depressive symptoms.
